Resolved [sd card reader doesn't seem to work]

will not read card (s).

nothing shows under disk management when card is inserted.
USB and all else works.

need advice.....

where's the fun in buying one?

sys is a gateway with custom fit in pc. Don.t think a standard flat-faced
new unit would fit into pc case.

Since problem applies to multiple cards i am leaning towards hardware but
would like to try other solutions first.....

If it's affecting multiple cards, I agree about it probably being a hardware problem. I'd check for loose/dirty connections first.
