    Hi all, (WinSE+IE6)
I am struggling with this one !
On an html webpage I have a .jpg. On mouseover the picture, I want to
show a tooltip-popup. In the tooltip, I want to include a url.
Can anyone please post a sample code to do this ?
    I would be very grateful.
    regards

    Hey merlin
Did you ever get this one worked out? Perhaps using your alt text tags?

If you want a popup with just text, and the url is not clickable, then use the <alt> tag. example:
    <img src= "images/my_cat.gif" alt= "kitty sticks paw in fishtank" width= "xx" height= "xx "></img>

To have a clickable url for an image mouseover you will need to use a dhtml script. Search www.dynamicdrive.com and otherv dhtml sites.

PS Is there a way of opening the boards so that you can see the threads you
started - this would help my obviously flagging memory !

    Two ways.

Open the forum, click on Members List, find yourself and you'll have the option.

Open any post you've made, click on your username, and you'll have the option.

    Third way

If you want to be more selective, click on Search, fill in your criteria, include your username, and get a fairly targeted list.

For instance, here are all the posts you've started and gotten zero responses.

    http://www.windowsbbs.com/search.php?searchid=14702

And these are all the ones you've posted to that contained the word DOS.
