I know it's only a right-click and move your mouse up... But it'd be awesome to have Explorer always open whenever I double-clicked a drive or folder.

Can't find anyone who's published such a script in google. It has to be a registry edit to do something like that, right? =\

Where would this drive or folder be located when click on them and what currently happens?

Pretty much everything you do with folders and drives is in Win Explorer;)

Then I'm using the wrong words.

I want folders and drives to open in the same display that I get when I "right click > explore" that object. Where I have the directory tree on the left and the folder contents on the right.

Right now it just opens, showing just the contents of the folder, and if I want to navigate around the network, I have to use the "up" button, or manually type the path in, unless I want to go back to My Computer and click through the drives and folders till I find what I want.

The tree just makes it better.

Open My Computer > Tools > Folder Options > File Types and highlight the "[none] Folder" selection. Click the Advanced button. Highlight Explore and click the Set Default button. OK out and check for effect.
