    Hi, Bob. :)

Sniper's suggested link apparently does describe at least a partial fix in post #35 of that thread, but the fix was applied to a Windows ME machine with an executable file that was apparently made for older versions of Windows (and not for Windows XP).

According to the "Reticulated Toys" page (which appears to be someone's personal "home.earthlink.net" web page),
The documentation at that "Reticulated Toys" web page is also very limited.

Therefore, I suggest you do not use any of the files available at that "Reticulated Toys" page..

There are other suggested links in the thread Sniper linked but I would be cautious about following instructions in those. I have no reliable information about how reputable the "Tech Support Guy" (techguy.org) web site is.

    Proceed with caution.

    Incredemail is hell on earth.
I had to uninstall once with spyware.
The link that helped me said he would never go within 1000 feet of a computer with incredemail.

    Hi, visionof. :)

    Perhaps you made a typo.

I Googled incredemail (which is spelled differently than the supposedly legitimate Incredimail) and indeed came up with several dangerous links (according to McAfee's SiteAdvisor) on the first page of results.

Perhaps you had a rogue version of Incredimail.

Anyway, using spyware to uninstall an "application" seems like an unwise choice to me.

Bob, I tried to find a solution for you shortly after you posted your problem but I did not locate a promising fix. :( I hope someone familiar with your problem sees this thread and provides a safe, effective fix.

If you make any progress or you can provide any additional details that might help us locate a fix, please let us know.

BTW, I Googled again and just discovered you posted a nearly identical message recently here at Windows BBS. Please refrain from opening multiple threads for the same problem.
