Is there a way to delete screensavers in display properties/screensavers.
I have about eight of them that came with win XP that I never use and wish to download some third party ones

    Hi welcome to WindowsBBS forum.

Screensavers are located in the C:\windows\system32 directory.

    There file extension is *.scr

You can also do a search for them by following these steps:

    Click Start
    Click Search
Choose all files and folders from the what do you want to search dialog box.
In under all or part of the file name put *.scr
    Click more advanced options.
Make sure search system files and search hidden files and folders is ticked.
    Click search.

Just to clarify there is no limit on the amount of screennsavers you can have installed.

They also take up very little space. Also restoring them could be a pain if you don't know exactly what your doing.
