Screensaver anomaly

    :confused: Really strange anomaly...can't remember what I did to cause it....whenever any screensaver is activated, the white cursor & hourglass symbol remains on the screen!!??
    Any suggestions?

    Try different screensaver, and see, if same thing happens.

    Broni, Jammer already said that it is a problem with any
    screensaver.
    Jammer, If you set the screensaver to "None" and then
    double click any .scr file in your Windows folder,
    do you still get the hourglass cursor ?

    Tried your suggestion .....screensavers-to-NONE..the only '.scr' file I found was a WIN SCREENSAVER folder...when I selectedTEST (no OPEN option), the cursor arrow remained...Tx...

    If you do not have any .scr files in the Windows Folder,
    you will get the problem you are reporting.
    Try downloading any .scr file off the the www (there are many free files) and make sure
    to put it in your Windows Folder and use Control Panel to select
    it. Maybe you somehow deleted all C:\Windows\*.scr
    files ?

    Merlin...found *.scr files in Windows System...when I activate them, some show problem, some work OK...any further suggestions? Tx,

    In Control Panel, select a scr file that works OK :)
    - some others seem to be corrupted.
