When setting up my new PC ( Windows 7 64bit) I clicked somewhere, and now get a display of pictures as wallpaper on my screen when no window is open. I like it .
However I have a lot of images on my ( 1 Tb) hard drive from many years of serious photography, and I keep seeing pictures I had forgotten or thought I had lost, and I want to get back to them . But the wallpaper does not display the file name , and I think the display is quite random in selection. Is there any way of getting to this "“ and wading through a few tens of thousands of one-by one can’t be the answer ?

Not that I know. If you type screen saver is your Start search box, and press [Enter] you'll see that Photos is selected. If you press the Settings button, you'll see the location listed from where the pictures are loaded.

I have found it's called "Desktop Background" and by following the obvious routes I got to the list of folders being used- so now that I now that I can set a first folder, and let that be in use, and so on, which will take me a couple of steps nearer to easy tracing of the files I want to do things with . So I'll mark resolved. Thanks.
