Screen Sizes

    Just had a quick question on correlating screen sizes...

    1280x800 pixels is a screen size of how many inches?

    That's not a screen size, it's a resolution. You can change the resolution of any (screen) size monitor to display at that resolution.

    No, it's 16:10. But that still doesn't mean anything in relation to screen size.

    As far as inches go:

    Icons and stuff viewed on a 15.4" wide screen set at 1280x800 would most approximate a 15" square screen set at 1024x768.
