Windows Vista [Screen] Resolution [issues after upgrading XP > Vista]

Have recently upgrade my dell dimension 2400 from xp to vista home primium.
The display setting is set to Low 640*480 pixels medium 16 bit which is making fonts etc big on the screen.
Have tried to change but it is set permanently in the mode stated above have also tried safe mode but it cannot change.

Hi grensam, I doubt very much if this PC is suitable to run Vista, it is fairly old hardware and you might struggle finding Vista drivers.
