    I am seeking knowledge of how to identify the person or learn the email address of someone who has a screen name on Instant Messenger(s). If anyone knows the trick and would rather email me the trick, instead of posting it here, please forward such to:

    Most messenger programs has a setting to "hide identy or hide ip address" from others. However, all you need to do is to run a command window (DOS Prompt in win98's) and type in the command window:

    netstat -a to see active internet connections and you will see all ip addresses connected to you.

    I tried doing it as instructed twice and on both occassions it did not work...Any other ideas will be greatly appreciated...Thanks
