Screen blinks with Java

    I've searched this forum for an answer but can find none.

    Whenever I'm viewing something in Java, my screen blinks at a constant rate.

    I'm running Java 1.3.1_04 on Windows XP Home, SP2, and use OE as my default browser.

    Since I can't find any reference to this problem, I'm assuming I'm the only person with it and wonder what I need to do to solve it. Any suggestions?

    I don't know a lot about Java but I do know your version is way outdated. The latest version is 1.4.2_06 If you don't have an update button in your Java console, go to Sun Microsystems in Google and download the latest. Maybe that will fix you up....

    You may need this version from here
