Screen blank after upgrading to Internet Explorer '7'

Hello, I believe the problem started since upgrading to I.E.7 . Shortly after booting my pc and opening I.E.7 my monitor goes to 'black' for approx 1 sec.

Any ideas to fix would be appreciated. Merry Christmas.

 

Some possibilities;

1. Learn to like the 1 second delay

2. Uninstall IE 7 and try installing it again (maybe Safe Mode this time).

3. Use XP System Restore to go back to a time before you installed IE7. Then try installing it again, if you're a hard nose.

4. Dump IE7 and wait until they get the bugs worked out.

I did # 4. It fouled my system to such a point that I decided to roll back to IE6 and wait out in the bushes until IE7 got worked out better.
