Following on from my problem with the inability to Hibernate, which has NOT been resolved, another problem in respect of "Scheduled Tasks" has raised its ugly head.

I am able to schedule a task as I used to do and the following message appears when you schedule the item:

"General page initialisation failed. The specific error is : 0x 80041315 : The Task Scheduler is not running. An error has occurred attempting to retrieve task account information. You may continue editing the task object, but will be unable to change account information "

    Any thoughts out there

    You are a gentleman.

Your knowledge is indispensible. I think it works. God bless you my son.

Now if you look at my thread under "Hibernate ", can you help me!!

If you follow Steve Jones information to the letter
"Control Panel->Administrative Tools->SERVICES->look to see if Task Scheduler is running. If not..Start it.

To find Task Scheduler go into STANDARD and there you will find "Task Scheduler" believe me. Enable it in Automatic or manual mode by clicking on Task Scheduler and you are off, off and away

A very, very contented guy thanks to Steve
