Your welcome! Can you describe this blue bar, as well as it's location?

    Blue search bar

Hello Dave....It's actually another search bar with shopping...search,but you can never get rid of It. When I right click on It....there are two words that I didn't know...msssswqstas, and osgstdsscho. When I would take the check mark away from that word....the bar would "hide." I did not get the two words together.....one came after I got rid of the other one by going Into the reg and scanning for thoses two words and I deleted all that came up.....hopefully that will get rid of that...will let you know. Hunt bar Is a search hijacker .I went Into the parasite site and that's what It came up with. It told me how to get rid of It In Dos but I don't go there!!!I am going to run spybot again and only take out the things that say Huntbar;BTLinks;BTLn, and Stool bar.....how's that sound to you?

    Hi snookie28,

Sounds good. Run Spybot in the advanced mode, twice , then run adaware. I still recommend you obtain RegSeeker and use the 'search registry' feature for entries also.

    ragseeker

Hello Dave, Just ran ragseeker and put In the word, "huntbar" and It came up with 49 of them!! Is It safe to delete anything that says that? I also ran spyhunter and It found other things too besides the huntbar but you have to buy to remove the things It finds and does that work?
I had to delete the spybot....I could never close It out. I read where other people had the same problem too. I guess I could download It again and run It In what you said. Don't know why I have so much trouble with the application.
Anxious to hear what I should do with all the "huntbars " words I found and would this help my problem. The search bar has a space for search;an email search;bar code;work from home; operation system;word search;email addresses.....and believe It or not, while I was typing In all this.....It changed some of the listings!!

    spyware

Thanks for the url's. I have tried all three and they came up with a lot of the "huntbars" but when you go to delete or clean them up they say they cannot.....you have to buy It first so I guess I will have to.
    Thanks....:)

Ad-Aware usually gives the option to delete them on reboot, or maybe just the Pro version.

A "universal" uninstaller for lop.com products is here:

    Thanks for the follow-up.

    Fingers crossed.

A lot of these mal-ware people have uninstallers on their sites, but usually no one wants to go to the sites for fear even more junk will get installed.

And they almost never make them easy to find.
