    Hi to All,

Does anyone have an idea how to insert an installed Adobe photoshop program as a scan to destination item on my drop down menu on the HP scanner. Know I could do it by reinstalling, but that messes everything up by changing the icons, file associations, etc.

Hoping there is a simple registry program someone might know about. Also, is there a way to delete items off the drop down menu without messing everything up...

    Thanks in advance,

    jongru...

I dont exactly understand what you mean.
Do you want to scan straight into Photoshop?

Ive used versions 6.0 and 7.0 of Photoshop.
On 6.0 to get a scan into Photoshop I used File -> Import -> Twain 32.
On version 7.0 its changed, so I use File -> Import -> HP PrecisionScan LTX 1.0

Not understanding exactly what your post meant I hope this has been of help.

    :)

    Scanner destination

    Thanks Geordie,

I am using Photoshop 4.0 I figured it out. I have to either reinstall Adobe and put up with all the mess of changing my file types, etc. or click on File-> Import-> Select TWAIN source once I open the Photoshop program. I selected the TWAIN 32 source, identified it as Hp Scanner 5200c, then it works fine. I just can't figure out how to make Adobe the default destination....jongru
