Windows Vista scanner prob.

    I have a Memorex MEM48U , and i can't get it to work with vista. i tried the memorex web site for new drivers but i coun't find any. do you think that they never updated this mdl? or do you know where i can find updated drivers.

    If Memorex don't offer drivers yet, they may still do so in the future. Best thing to do would be to go to their Support website and send them an email querying whether or not drivers will be made for Vista. If you get a "Possibly ", you will need to weigh up whether you are going to wait for them.

    Always seems to be a problem with an upgraded operating system. I keep (one or two :)) older systems around to run my older hardware.

    Scanners use Twain drivers, they are a little different from normal drivers. Unfortunately I have not had much experience with them. Mmmm, read about compatibility mode and see if you can run the installer as an older system.
