scanner error

this scanner is conntinually not working, the scanner is an hp scanjet 2200c, does anyone know any errors that occur w/ windows XP

Scanners and Windows

For what its worth, Windows only supports one scanner. I have two, a photo scanner and a flatbed scanner. I went nuts trying to figure out why one would work for awhile and not the other. Some people at HP finally told me about the one scanner syndrome. Note that the people who had the answers were in Canada and not Dehli!!!!!! The answer of course, was only to have one scanner in use at a time. If the other was needed, shut the "live" one down, and the other one on.....

can your scanner startup and pass the self-check like normal?
