I saved some Excel spredsheets to files while waiting for network printer to freeup, I later wanted to delete them but can't. The files were saved to my network places/entire network/workgroup/rickies ( rickies, is my computer) When you click on rickies, you can see the files that were saved there, but can not delete them, You can click on c:rickies and go into my computer and see the normal shared files. This is a Win Me unit. Right clicking on one of the files does not give you the option to delete, only to open, connect or capture printer port.

Thanks again for all your help.

What happens if you locate the files in Windows Explorer, highlight them and press the delete key?

I must admit, I do not know much about the networking side of things, if they are on my hard drive, I have not found their location. When I right click, and chose Propteries, no location is given, but discribed as a microsoft networking file and print. a sample file name is like "csr xerox~24"

    Thanks again

    Part II,

I did a file search and came up with nothing located on my hard drive or the server dirive f using that name format from above.

They gotta be there somewhere. Locate them as you showed in your first post and then copy the link and post it here. Simple enough then to show you exactly how to get to where they are located. May not be on your PC at all.

Also may be on your PC but be hidden files and you aren't set to display them.

At any rate, post the link to them and we'll get you to them in such a way you can delete them.

CTRL-C to copy. CTRL-V to paste. Should work.
