Is their anyway I can save my Favorites list to a Floppy? Iam going to reinstall my windows 98 and it sure would be nice to save these instead of reentering them again!

    Thanks :)

Airplane2001--Yes, if it will fit. After you reinstall Win98 you will find a new (almost empty--probably will have some "Links" in it) Favorites folder already created. Might be better to drag and drop the contents of the saved Favorites folder into the new Favorites folder rather than just substituting the new folder with the old.
Another way to back up your Favorites folder is to click IE File|Import and Export|Next and you will be offered to Export the Favorites folder. What you will get however will not be the folder itself but a file called Bookmarks.html which will contain all the URL's in Favorites.
And have you a plan to save your OE email files and Address Book? The easy way to do that is to use DBXtract.

    Although you can also use

I agree with Jim....just use Windows Explorer and copy and paste the CONTENTS of your FAVORITES folder to a folder on the floppy. Ignore any hidden files and folders messages.

After you reinstall, just delete all the contents of the new installed FAVORITES folder. Again, ignore the hidden files/folders message. Then copy and paste your old contents from the folder on the floppy. Everything will be back, including the links. I've done that several times and it works good.

Also, if you are copying your address book, use Text, Comma Separated Values. That way you can be sure that you got a copy of it!
