I just switched from Microsoft Word 2000 to 2003 on my Windows XP/SP2 PC. In the past I became pretty proficient dragging/adding icons to 2000's toolbars so I could just click on them at the top of the screen each time I used Word 2000. It seemed easy to just save the normal.dot template and reuse it, renaming the old one in case something went wrong, etc.

Following the same routine in Word 2003 for some reason hasn't worked for me. I can drag any standard icons I want to the toolbars and use them successfully in a single Word 2003 session, but despite saving normal.dot the same way as I did in Word 2000, it just won't save them for the next time I open Word 2003.

    Any ideas here? Thanks!
