    To: Ramona, Westside, or Anybody:

Does anyone know how to Save the Bookmarks file when using Windows 98 and Netscape 7.0? I have searched and searched Help with no success. I have done this in the past, but have forgotten the procedure.

I want to save Bookmarks so that I can eventually transfer it to a floppy.

    Thanks

    To Ramona, Westside, and others:

I have found two answers to my "saving Bookmarks" question. Common sense should have warned me, therefore no answer required.

    1. In Netscape: Go to Manage Bookmarks > Tools > Export > send to floppy

    2. In Internet Explorer: Favorites > right click File Folder with Bookmarks > Sent To floppy

Try enough times and answer comes.

I still have had no luck installing and using Netscape 7.2.

The bookmarks.html can be copied and pasted when you are on the hard drive. In fact, I have all sort of backed up bookmarks files.

I remember that you were having problems with the installation of 7.2. I will have to track down the thread, and see what was going on, and tell you what I think. It is so difficult to diagnose some problems, because you may know perfectly well what is going on, but we sure don't, and, can't assume that you do things like we do.

I fished out the old thread It pretty much illustrate the problems in helping. My last post was suggesting that you create a new profile for 7.2.
Your reply was that you were going to stick with 7.01. Did you have another post which I missed.
