I have Firefox on my windows XP computer. I previously used Internet Explorer 6 (which was a lot easier to use). On Firefox when I am on a web page and want to save that web page to my Desktop, I click file, "save page as" and then click save. But two icons of that web page appear on my desktop. How can I save a page to my Desktop in Firefox with only one icon of that page appearing on my Desktop? Thank you very much. abm

Almost the same as IE. In the Save dialog you have several choices when saving: Web Page Complete, HTML Only (single file), Text.

IE saves as Web Page complete, Web archive (mht single file), HTML only, text.. (MHT is a proprietary MS format)

In any browser when save as web page complete you get an html file and a folder with the contents of the page in it (images, scripts, applets, etc).
