Win XP Home. Have a PPS File with some pictures I would like to save as JPEG and use as a Desktop. Can't figure out how to get by the first one to select the ones I want to save.

I only have the Viewer, not the Program. How do I do this?

    Hello, stranger.

It just so happens that someone sent me a pps presentation the other day (funny---his name was "Stranger ", too). I was wondering how to do this. What did you discover?

    Abraxas, You're a Faker!

You know this but I'm going to post it for other strugglers.

When the program got to the point I wanted to save, pushed the Print Screen, viewed it on Clipboard, saved it to desktop, drug it to IrFan Viewer to change the file assoc and there it was!

It was a stumble really, no learned person would have went this route...........:)

Thank you, Mudd. I didn't know how to do that and am glad you were talked into coming back and letting us know how it works. :D

My XP has the program and am wondering myself how to save pics. I like the way they view (fills the whole screen), but really don't know how to view them seperately to save. Any help out there?

    Abraxas??? ;)

    Thanks.

    :)

I did it just like Mudd, but skipping a step. I ran the pps file. When I got to the pic I wanted, pressed "PrintScrn" and then "Esc" to end the program. I suppose I could have Alt-Tabbed to save it before going on to the next picture.

Going to either Irfanview or 602Photo from there, Edit, Paste, File, Save, gave me the picture.

There are programs I found on the net for money that extract these pictures, but this seems easy enough.
