All saved msg files in my computer with Windows XP now cannot be opened, can anyone help?

I use Microsoft Outlook 2003 for a long time and saved many outlook messages in my laptop, but now when I click them, they don't open.

I tried to change the file name from msg to txt or html, but neither works.

Please help and send message to (E-mail addy removed by Christer)

    Many thanks.

    Hi Mike,
    welcome to Windows BBS ... :) ... !

I removed your E-mail addy from your post to avoid "harvesting ". Much better if you stick around and get an answer in the thread you started!

In which format were the messages saved?

Saved Outlook msg files cannot be opened

    Hello Christer,

I drag and drop outlook files to File Manage from Outlook Inbox. I can open these msg files with no problem before and now cannot. There may be virus in my Outlook 2003?

    Thanks

    mikeliu,
I don't use Microsoft Outlook myself (never heard of "File Manage ") so, I can't be of any assistance ... ... but I hope someone else chimes in!

File Manager sounds like the old app from Win 3.1?

What happens when you try to open the mail?
