Hi, I just installed the newest ver. of Seamonkey. I right click on an image and click save as. The right click popup immediatly disappears after clicking save as. I've never seen this before. I'd appreciate any ideas.
    tks

I am not sure when you have the described behavior. Probably if you selected to "download automatically to a specified folder ", as well as don't open anything in the download manager section. The download should proceed in any event. Only, in the last instance you trust fate. I have set to "open progress dialog ", and, on saving a file to prompt and default to prompt to "specified download folder ". I have selected the desktop, and, I prefer to be the traffic controller. Most of my files, if .exe, end up in a Download folder. I also have music, image and audio file folders.

Hi, I fully understand what your saying. I would D/L to a specified folder but somethings I put in varied places. Pictures go in Pictures, Movies go in movies etc. My .exe's go on desktop or in a temp folder. Guess we all do the same thing but slightly different.:)

There is no good way to do what you want all the time. Sooner or later, you will have a different format which you want to go to a different folder. The way I do it, has the Desktop has a common place, and, I may handle things differently. For instance, some images are too small, like the CD album covers. I use emusic, and burn CDs. Invariably, the image is too small, so I resize it. Then after printing, I save the resized images, and store it in the CD covers folders. But, I get also .jpg files from friends who have no clue about file handling. I get these 300X200 in. images, at 300 DPI. Not good. I resize those to about 7x4.5, 80 DPI.
I can print or resend the resized image, which is, then, saved in an appropriate folder, either of one person, or generic. Since I have to do some manipulations prior to storage, I do what I need to do, and, then decide. Music may go into any of five or six folders, etc.
