Hi WindowsBBS,
I am a retired woolgrower, living in a country town called Hay, NSW, Australia.
I have used computers since 1990. Always had an excellent technician to fix things. He now spends a lot of time overseas, so now I should start to stand on my own feet.
When it comes to use of the Web, pretty inexperienced. Slowly finding my way around.
Have had a problem with an old computer which I couldn't get fixed, bought a new computer and the problem has got carried onto the new computer. So now I have registered with your group and have already found a thread about it.

Thanks for the warm welcome. WindowsBBS is giving me confidence that I will get these problems sorted out, and resist the urge to throw the computer in the lake.
