Resolved SanDisk USB Flash Drive

    Would it be ok to delete the U3 section (programs) on a SanDisk drive? Would I still be able to acess files on the drive? I don't need the password protection so that's not an issue.

    Yes - and to prove the point I have just deleted U3 software off one of my Sandisk drives which also contained other data, without issue.

    AFAIK U3 software allows you to run Windows based software off the drive.

    Just in case you may need it cut to your hard drive rather than delete.
