I joined the board to learn more about the technological world we've been thrust into over the past 20 years. I've been using the Internet since 1999 and could never have imagined living in a world of smartphones, tablets, smart watches and maybe even self-driving cars someday. It truly seems like anything is possible now.

 

Hi silverwolf107, Welcome to WindowsBBS. I have often remarked to my family that my parents (their Grandparents) would turn in their graves if they knew how much has changed since they passed on.
Cell phones were being considered when my Dad died in 1979. The Motorola "Brick" was the first I rememberand I have one of the worlds smallest the Panasonic GD55.
I feel lucky to be living while all these technological inventions are arriving. Neil.

 

It's surprising to realize how old most of this tech is. The Internet data back to 1969 and the Web to 1989 and mobile phone tech has been around since the 20s!
