    I recently purchased a new headset (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage...echat&lp=1&type=product&cp=1&id=1166235551781)
but the problem is the headset requires you to insert it into the USB port, so I stick it into the USB port, but the safely remove hardware icon doesn't appear.. I tried accessing the safely remove hardware program through the run program (RunDll32.exe shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL hotplug.dll) but that doesn't show my headset.. I am unsure what to do, and don't want to break my new expensive headset.

    Thanks

Does the headset work when plugged in?

USB Mice and keyboards don't bring up the Safely Remove Hardware icon....
