   I am getting a 'runtime error' window quoting various line numbers, asking if I want to 'Debug'? but nothing happens.

   Are you maybe getting the error with your internet browser? If so - which one?
   
   If it happens with Internet Explorer - click on Tools->Options->Advance tab and disable script debugging.
