    Hi all. This is my second question for the W98 BBS -- the first was fixed with much input and was extremely educational.

    Here's the new problem. While trying to install Realplayer 8, I get the following:

    Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
    Runtime Error!
    Program c:\........\Realplayer\Realplayer.exe
    R6025
    -pure virtual function call

    I've then uninstalled, cleaned the registry and eliminated all references to Realplayer on the computer, and reinstalled, but same thing happens.

    I went back to RP8 after being unable to run Real One Player, was getting "Stack fault" errors.

    Otherwise, the computer runs great.

    Can someone explain what's happening?

    Thanks.

    This may help you.
    The other things I found on this error would not be your end. It would be an error in the source code of RealPlayer, or corrupted install file.
