Running Win XP and WIN 98 together on partitioned H.D

    Recently I had partitioned my H.D (C; &D:)and now wish to install win 98 to it ,presently having win XP (on C:). where should it be installed? can it me on same partition on which win xp is or can it be on other partition D:Will it have conflict or reduce performance of xp 9is as sharing common files)
    Any one to advice pl.
