Hi Guys I've got the following problem

    - Some of the propriety software our users use , need local admin rights , which I'm REALLY not willing to give (Extremely novice users) , and would like to know If I can make a shortcut where program is run as local administrator

I've made a shortcut and used runas , but it seems that it needs the password everytime

    Any Replies Greatly Appreciated

Did you use the /savecred switch?
For example, in the shortcut path or batch file...

    C:\WINNT\system32\runas.exe /savecred /user:SomeUser "C:\Program
    Files\ahead\Nero\nero.exe "

/savecred if using XP-Pro. Doesn't work on XP-Home and will simply be ignored.

And since you didn't specify, thought I'd toss that tidbit in.
