    Hello all,

I have Outlook 2000 set up at work on Windows 2000 NT (I do not have admin rights) for my work mail. I also use my work mail from home via html. So I get the idea last night to set up my work mail on my OE at home(XP home) to make things easier. Well, I got it set up, then synchronized and all looked good. Until I get into work this morning, and my inbox was empty. I guess I assumed (insert joke here) that OE would "copy" my mail from the server, instead of transfer it. So I have been sitting here for a while now trying to figure out how to get it back at work, and so far I got nothing.
I would really like to be able to run this mail account from both locations. Is this possible?

Thanks for any and all imput.

First, you are going to have to get it back on the server, and the only way I know is to forward it from your OE account back to yourself. Guess that won't work while you're at work.
To fix it so it doesn't happen again. Open OE, click on tools accounts, highlight the account, properties, advanced tab. Then put a checkmark in "leave copy on the server ". Haven't used Outlook in a while, but I believe there is the same kind of setting for it.

Doing what aleekat suggested will sync your incoming mail.

If you want your sent mail at the house too, you might use the BCC feature and bcc yourself.

Thanks for the replies. I found OE on the work server and have been playing around with it also. and I clicked to leave mail on the server, and it's showing up in both programs just liked I was hoping it would.

    Thanks again for the help.
