Hi, I just got an old Press Kit CD ROM for the Beatles Anthology 2 launch from 1996. System requirements are win 3.1 and/or Quicktime 2.1. Is this an exercise in futility? Exe files "are not compatible with this version of Windows" and the mov files have audio but no video.

I did find that VLC player would play the mov but the video is rather pixelated. sound is fine.

Lost cause or can I make this work?

    Thanks, Lar

It sounds (no pun intended) like the CD was not recorded in a standard format because Windows 7 supports playing normal CDs just fine.

And there would be no video content with CDs.
