I am trying to install a new printer.
It is an Epson Stylus Photo R220. I run Windows 98SE.

In the middle of installation I get an Msgsrv32 error box that pops up.
If I try to install using Plug and Play, I get a Rundll error box that pops up. When I click OK, I get the "has performed an illegal operation" box.

It seems as though some files have been corrupted or something. Any ideas???

    Thanks

    Hi,

    Welcome to the WindowsBBS!

Please start with this document: Using System File Checker. It will let you scan the Windows system files to determine if any are missing / incorrect.
