    How can I remove the previous entries in the "run" command. I have run some things that I don't want other people using the pc to be able to do - yet it saves all tthe entries in a list .

    Start - Control Panel - Taskbar & Start Menu - Start Menu - Customise - Advanced - Clear List.

    Or use TweakUI.

    If you don't want to clear the whole list, or if you've entered some bad commands, the list is saved in the Registry at HKCU\Software\Microsoft\ Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\RunMRU. You can delete individual commands there.
