Resolved run windows xp in windows7 home Prem

Is there any free programs that will let me run xp programs in windows7 Home Prem.?

 

Most Xp software will run fine with Win 7, what particular software are you having issues with?

You could always run a virtual machine with XP running inside it but you would need a full retail license of XP. The alternative is to upgrade to Win 7 Pro or above (obviously at a cost) where you'll be able to do the above with a free download from MS.

 

I do have xp home edition full version, but I don't no how to set it up in windows 7 to run it.

 

It has to be Retail not OEM bob, but before we go into the process of setting up a VM, tell us what software you're having an issue with. There may be better and easier ways to solve the problem.

OK, I'd start by reading about VMWare, take your time and digest the information available.

For me it's a little overkill for some recipes but each to their own.
