run windows from DVD ?

    Supposing that I install windows, update it then burn it to a DVD. Is it possible to use this DVD to run windows. Any complication?

    Many,

    Windows is constantly writing to the registry, creating temp files etc.

    There are posibilities for using a windows live dvd (like linux), but I won't comment on them because to be honest I'm not sure of the legal implications.
