I have an application that runs in full screen mode only (i.e. it has no min/max buttons and hids the taskbar). I am finding it very annoying to have to hit the windows key to show the taskbar and switch to other applications.

Is there some way in windows that I can make this application run in a window so it doesn't hide everything else?

Alt-TAB is a much quicker way to move from app to app in most cases.

As to the ill-mannered critter, could you say what it is?

Its a video monitoring program that views and records feeds from 4 cameras.

I think the software was designed for it to be the only application being run on the computer. Hence the darn thing hiding the taskbar and everything.

My lazy surfing style has me leaning back using a mouse to do all the changing windows and stuff. I find it a real annoyance to have to use the keyboard (alt-tab or windows key)so I was hoping there was a software solution around.
