With the increasing proliferation of unsolicited mail combined with those new to the Internet who inadvertently use my domain when subscribing to various [mostly useless] e-mail services, I?ve set up numerous rules to filter/delete unwanted mail.

As e-mail is downloading I get a pop-up message telling me?

?You don?t have appropriate permission to perform this action?.

When I then look at my rules I find the rule intended to filter this particular message has become unticked. Re-ticking it occasionally works for a download or two but sooner of later I get the same pop-up message and the rule unticks itself.

    Can anyone help?

Have you tried the Help~Detect and Repair option?

Do you have the latest updates including all the security patches?
