Okay, I am having waaaaaaaaaaay too much fun with this! Got time on your hands this weekend? Don't use a reader for RSS feed? Don't care? LOL I wanted to know everything I never wanted to know before the other day so I did some research. Plus Steve (Jones) gave me a kick-start in the General Forum. Seems I have always had a reader on iGoogle but never really knew how to use it. That is the most simple one.

I downloaded another reader for my desktop. Won't put the name in here because some may see it as advertising. I played with it all day yesterday and last night! I don't know about all readers, but this one has its own built-in browser. Which is actually your default browser but it opens to whatever news, weather, etc URL of the story you select, into a panel on the reader.

There seems to be readers that some sites use exclusively and I am learning how to subscribe to them with MY reader. Since I subscribe to the KISS principal of learning, you gotta know this is an easy thing to do. And it is fun!

Jann (does this tell you that I need a life?);)

Since I discovered RSS a few years back I find I no longer need to buy a newspaper, unless I buy a puppy or a bird, or need to start the fireplace. And I have tried almost all the readers, too!

I am torn now between not wanting the resource hog and having the news right where I want it when I want it. I use DemonFeed and the Google reader, I have no clue but I can't do a thing with it! iGoogle makes me crazy.
I guess I just have to get rid of what I don't really want. Also, I like the way I Demon puts the browser in there. Or did I already say that?

We are losing control, you know! It's becoming a machine world. So why do we still have all this paper in our filing cabinets?

I had a love/hate relationship with the Sage extension to Firefox and then found the free version of FeedGhost.
