There was a great feature in 1.0rc1. On the bookmarks dropdown there was/is a "Bookmarks Toolbar Folder" that expands to "Getting started" and "Latest Headlines" which expanded to a lot of news stories using RSS.

It worked fine in rc1 but in rc2 there are no news stories listed. Instead there is a "Live Bookmarks loading..." and never changes. Anyone else having the same problem?

I ran into RSS, yesterday for the first time at Yahoo.com, which has its own RSS items. Not one of them came up right. I got the alert that it was not properly coded xul. But, I will recheck. I suppose you don't have the earlier version.
    I have RC1 and RC2.

I have rc1 and rc2. I reinstalled rc1 and it does the same thing as rc2.

I then went back to rc2 and went to the bbc news where I got the symbol in the bottom right of status bar. I clicked on it and then clicked on the resultant box which brought up the bookmark window and I saved it to bookmarks. I have it there now but it is not in the place I had it before.

I'm going to try it after making FF my default and see if it makes any difference.

It will not make any difference if you make it default or not. However, a few sites have RSS. I, personally, do not thing that it is so great, something like Internet keywords. A good spam magnet. May be I have not experienced enough.

    Now it works

I did nothing except shut down yesterday and did my usual boot up this morning. Now I have the Latest headlines loaded.

When it worked before, I had done nothing, I just noticed it there as I was getting familiar with the various things available in FF.

I guess the lesson here is do nothing and they will come?

Would it not be great if it would be that way with other features?
Anyway, doing nothing is more effective than furiously uninstalling and reinstalling, the usual attempted fix!
