Resolved RSS feeds keep repeating, over and over again

I'm running Win 8.1, but using Outlook 2007 SP3. About 10 days ago, without any warning, random RSS feeds started coming into my Inbox several times - even up to 10 times. Not during the same mailbox check, but in a successive one. No regular emails, only RSS feeds. I'm not aware of any changes I made to my system around that time which might have triggered this. Up to that time, behaviour was perfect, with nothing similar ever having happened before. I'm now having to search through up to 30 or 40 unread feeds to try to remember which I was keeping for future use, and then deleting all the others, some of which were up to 5 or 6 times in my Inbox.

As a workaround, I've created a new folder called "Feeds to keep ", move the appropriate ones there and then mark "All as read" so they disappear from my unread mail. But this strikes me as clumsy and cumbersome, and I would prefer to get to the root of the problem and fix it, rather than just playing around with the symptoms, if anybody has a kind suggestion - thanks.

I've followed the tip and shall monitor for a couple of days. If it works, I'll mark this post as solved.
