Roxio CD Creator

I recently purchased a Dell computer--it came withRoxoi's Easy CD Creator Version 5.3.2.34.
While looking around trying out how it works I keep the message to UPGRADE to Roxio's CD Creator 5 Platinum.
If I am going to try a receive & record music over the Net it, should I upgrage?
Has anyone had any experience with Roxio software and is NERO any better?

If Roxio works now leave it alone their upgrade can be troublesome to some.

Has nothing to do with being able to download or play.

Allows you to burn CD's.

Yes I think Nero is better, but unless you are a real heavy burner with special needs I would not buy Nero if I already had Roxio. I would buy Nero if I had no burning sofyware.

Thank you mflynn. I'll leave it alone until I find me someone who can teach me how to use and if I can burn music of the net I won't touch it. I'm not a heavy burner.

If you want a hassle free, no upgrade needed, burning program that will actually work, and is FREE, check out Sony's CDExtreme.
Seems there isn't a direct download link (I can't find one anyhow), but I have a copy of it, as well as it's (one and only) update.
It works better than EZCD (now that roxio has totally ******* with it (remind's one of the AOL/Netscrap fiasco)), is easier than Nero (except maybe the Nero wizard).
