Router and Firewall.

    As usual, my apologies if this has already been covered but I have been unable to find any postings dealing with this subject.

    I also am not sure if this is the correct Forum for the question.

    Regardless, when I install a Router, I have the choice of either using the Router's MAC Address, or cloning the MAC Address from the Card in my PC.

    My question is, "If I use the cloning method, will the Router still act as a Firewall, or must I install a Software Firewall? "

    Yes. Your router's firewall will still do it's job.
