Rogers.com email users - server settings changes

    For those of us using T-bird on Rogers.com/Yahoo Mail, Rogers made some server changes effective today (1 Mar 2014).

    Rogers does NOT support Thunderbird, and does not list the correct server settings on its website. I spent an hour on LiveChat (48 min wait, 10 min fix) to get the right settings finally.

    Tools / Account Settings

    POP.ym no longer works.

    The settings that do work are...
    Incoming Server Name = pop.broadband.rogers.com
    Port 995 SSL/TLS

    Outgoing Server Name = smtp.broadband.rogers.com
    Port 465 SSL/TLS

    You will have to login with password again.
