After accessing my photo album in Yahoo Group, Roboform prevents me from reviewing the pictures individually in the album. I know it's password management software, but I don't want it, never ordered it. How can I remove it so I can see my pictures?

Find that hard to believe, but ....

Either disable the Roboform tool bar by clicking on the 'x' at the left hand end of the bar or remove through Add/Remove Programs - AI Roboform

The Roboform message won't let me do what you recommend. this is what happens: It looks like an error message window and says: "A1 Roboform assertion failed. Message copied to clipboard.
    GetLast error returned: 0
    OS ver:
    IE ver:
    RF ver: file: D:\p\roboform\Filler\Form Filler.cpp
It is quite possible that the program executed can be safely continued. Do you want to continue? Y or N. "
If I hit Y the error message stays in the window and I can't close or do anything. If I hit no the message disappears but then my computer freezes and I have to turn it off.
    If that's not a virus ...
and why was my question rerouted to this site?

This is most likely a problem related to a different software that has licensed our technology:

    WHAT IS HAPPENING

If you are seeing this message box:
    OS version: x.x.xx
    IE version: y.y.yyyy
    RF version: 4-1-1 or 4-4-9
    File: D:\p\roboform\Filler\RFParser.cpp
    Line: NNNN
then most likely you are using
    Browser Companion DISCOVERCARD DESKSHOP.
Or CITIBANK Virtual Account Number Generator.
Or it can be a similar program from ING.

This product contains RoboForm form filling technology,
they use it to fill online forms from your personal profile.
The version that was distributed had this intermittent bug in it.

    HOW TO FIX THE PROBLEM

Please ask the provider of your browser companion
for a new version of the companion that has this problem fixed.
They received the fix from us and presumably they should
have a new version that incorporates this fix.

We have also found that downgrading from IE8 to IE7 fixes the problem when all else fails. Regardless, feel free to visit http://support.roboform.com and we can assist further for your particular situation.

Hi flohall. Since you can't remove AI Roboform from Add/Remove Programs then download and run the portable version of Revo Uninstaller and see if it will remove the program.

Hi Evan, Roboform isn't even listed on my computer in my Add/Remove feature, that's why I couldn't remove it. Will the Revo program remove the error message that holds up my computer?.

Revo should hopefully be able to remove it. Just use the hunter mode of revo uninstaller to find the program. If revo doesn't find the program then you are going to have to remove the program manually.

This would indicate that you are indeed experiencing the issue that I mention in my post. RoboForm is NOT a virus!

Hi Evan, I downloaded Revo and it couldn't find Roboform and I still get the Roboform error message and can't see my pictures or continue to use the computer unless I close everything and start over again. I don't know how to manually remove Robo if I can't find the program anywhere on my computer. What should I do next?
BTW - thanks for your time in trying to help me.
