ccApp is a Symantec program that needs to be in the startup. You can look on Black Viper's site for things safe to shut down on start up. I suggest leaving anything by Symantec ALONE- let it do its thing. What exactly is the problem or error message you are getting? Are there any problems with function? If you can be more specific, I am sure we can figure out what to do.

    Elaine,

I don't have RealPlayer installed, but reading through that long thread in the 98 forum - which wandered off the point - it would seem that you have 3 options.

    1. Open up RealPlayer and somewhere (Preferences?) you should find an option to 'Check for updates' - make sure it is unchecked.
The message will do no harm to your PC.

    2. Right click a blank area of the Taskbar > Properties > Start Menu Tab> Customise > Remove and remove RealPlayer from the Startup Folder. (I am running XP Pro with the Classic interface so it might be a little different) It will then not start when you boot the PC.

    3. Uninstall RealPlayer

Don't disable CCApp - that is NAV - what is the notification re. ccAPP?

    RNAdmin and ccApp

    Thanks PeteC on RNAdmin notification...

I unchecked the realplayer updates and it seem to work but it is quite slow during the shut down process...but i will try again within this few days and see how things go.

About ccApp, the notification goes too fast, i dun have enough time to read at the notification. this notification is different compare to RNAdmin because it will end by itself.

anyway i will observe my pc a few days more and see.

    Thanks for your reply

I will keep you update about this info.
