forgive a novice question but ...

found an hysterically funny pic i wanted to share with my e-mail list but site wouldn't let me right-click to save it ... no big deal, found it elsewhere (in public domain - the pic wasn't owned by the site where i first saw it) ... anyway, just curious if i should be worried that that site could so quickly disable all "right-click" functions in IE6 (Windows XP-Pro) ... i ran norton AV afterwards, spybot & adaware and found nothing untoward, but wondered if i should be checking for anything else ... or perhaps i am being slightly too paranoid :)

    thanks,

No concern. Some sites use coding to prevent the copying of any material. This won't harm your computer.

PwyllTwiceborn--If this is happening on only one site, I would not worry. What Whiskeyman has said is likely the situation.
I suspect you can take a screenshot of the pic (click PrtScreen), paste into a graphics editor like MSPaint or Irfanview and then save.
